{Tutorial Tuesday} Making Subway Art or Home Decor Posters with PicMonkey Free Photo Editing

I have been seeing a lot of Subway Art on Pinterest lately and I wanted to show you a free way to make your own without having to purchase software like Photoshop or Photoshop Elements.

Or Just to decorate your own home…

Here are a few easy steps to making your own Subway Art or Home Decor Posters…First You open PicMonkey and Upload your blank sheet… If you don’t know what I’m talking about, I show you how to make a blank sheet in my tutorial HERE….

To make a poster, just choose shapes and text… that’s it!

For the Subway Art, I just played around with different fonts and you can make different colors.. I kept these pretty far apart, you may want to space the lettering closer together or add more words.

That’s it! Easy Peasy:) Now you can either print your Subway art on your printer and frame, or you can send to your local photo printer. Make sure if you get these posters printed, that you choose matte finish if you are framing them! These make great personalized gifts! Add illustrations, shapes or photos in the mix to personalize even further!

I love subway art, but always struggle with what words to use.

These look great. Thanks for linking up the the And Sew We Craft Together linky party.

have been wanting to make my own subway art for so long1 I found your awesomee tutorial, and last night I made a subway sign for my dear friends 60th anniversary. I do have a question. When I went to print the sign, apparently the words go outside the margins and are cut off. How do I set the margins at picmonkey, so that I know all my words are within the margins? Thanks! and thanks for the awesome tutorial!

It’s a lot of fun to get and give an assortment of gifts items and it’s a good way to ensure that everyone is included in the family during the happy occasion. It’s especially good to remember any other little brothers or sisters in the family, who may perhaps and probably feel somewhat left out by all the fuss over the new baby.`
